Life In The Realm of Fantasy

I have to admit that I keep falling in love with my characters and with the concept behind the stories; they are such real people to me.

One of the benefits of being OCD is that I have enough books in the works so that when I am not very creative in one tale I am completely creative in another.

The hardest part of life in the Realms of Fantasy is that Reality keeps intruding.  Just as I am about to take my characters to amazing new places the world stops and I am forced to find my purse, locate my keys and drive my vehicle somewhere.   But I have made progress  this week nonetheless.

Along with my personal reality of living and writing in small town America, there is the ongoing worry for the people of Japan, and the living nightmare that daily affects their lives.  If you have the desire to donate to any of the many wonderful organisations that are on the ground in Japan and in the other devastated parts of this world here are the links to their very wonderful websites where you can make your donations and be assured that the funds go to the people as you have intended.

These organizations will take them food, and help them to rebuild their lives.  We can’t bring back their loved ones, or take away the horror of what they are living through but we can mitigate it in some way.

The American Red Cross is out there fighting the good fight.

Also Catholic Relief Services  is on ground zero helping anyone that they can.

Samaritan’s Purse is highly recommended to me as a world class charity.

However, my personal favorite of all these charities is World Vision

God bless all these people and the people they work so tirelessly to help.

In the meantime, as always the world of Waldeyn awaits in the ‘The Last Good Knight’; the Tale of Julian Lackland.  Waldeyn is a world that I loved the crafting of, and I am completely in love with the Great Knight himself!

You can watch the trailer for ‘The Last Good Knight’ at:

Also, Fantasy Island Book Publishing has a lovely new webpage that will be up soon, and I am very proud to be represented by them.  My editor J. Darroll Hall and his Fantasy Island Book Publishing brand is topping Amazon sales rankings all over the Kindle book rankings. The brand’s bookshelves and catalog are on fire at the moment.  There are so many good stories there that I am honored to be one of their number!   Print copies of ‘The Last Good Knight’ will be available through their website also!
