I clicked on one of the words in the first box from the original posting. That brought me here which is okay, however, where do I go from here? When I click on one of the words inside a box here, it takes me to another box of words. Those seem to bring me back here. I’m going in circles seeing the same words appear. This makes no sense as it doesn’t help explain how to help the reader ‘visualize’ these emotions.
If this comment box is ONLY meant to get my email address so you can send out more stuff, DON’T BOTHER doing so! I’m getting more of this kind of emails than I know what to do with so DON’T waste your or my time, as I will only immediately unsubscribe. If you can write me and direct me to more ways to display any of these emotions, then I’ll be much more willing to subscribe. Thank you.
Hello – I have nothing to sell, and don’t send out emails to anyone, although if someone wants to subscribe to it, WordPress will deliver my posts to their email box. Otherwise, they just appear in the WordPress reader, and no one is stuck with unwanted emails. I’m not sure what you clicked on, so I’m not sure how to help you. The words list is a picture, an image. I used an image so it would keep the blogpost at a reasonable length. That may be why you keep being cycled back to it. Here is the text:
A short list of simple, commonly used, easy to describe, surface emotions:
Admiration
Affection
Anger
Anticipation
Awe
Confidence
Contempt
Denial
Desire
Desperation
Determination
Disappointment
Disbelief
Disgust
Elation
Embarrassment
Fear
Friendship
Grief
Happiness
Hate
Interest
Love
Lust
Pride
Revulsion
Sadness
Shock
Surprise
Other emotions are tricky, difficult to show, and even more difficult to properly express internally. They are complicated and deeply personal, but these are the gut-wrenching emotions that make our work speak to the reader.
So, here is an even shorter list of rarely well-described, difficult to articulate, complex emotions:
